Daniel Hyman spent 18 years in the Australian Army as a logistics officer. That career is not background colour. It is the reason SOLVR works the way it does. Military logistics is the science of making complex systems run reliably under pressure, with limited resources, across multiple moving parts simultaneously. That is exactly what a small business needs from an automation platform.
After leaving the Army, Daniel moved to Thailand in 2021, arriving in Phuket before settling on Koh Samui, where he has lived for 5 years. He runs two active businesses on the island: Southern Cross Diving Co, a PADI dive school with 20 years of operation and over 20,000 logged dives, and Brewed Awakening, a specialty coffee truck in Bangrak.
Both businesses became the proving ground for SOLVR. Every module in the platform was tested on real operations, with real revenue, real customers, and real consequences for failure. SOLVR is not a concept. It is a production system that has been running live since March 2026.
